Bobette Fleishman
Ms. Fleishman is a Certified Family Law Specialist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. She has practiced Family Law exclusively since 1976. Ms. Fleishman practiced in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area (Century City and Beverly Hills) for 12 years before moving to Westlake Village in 1988.
In her previous career, Ms. Fleishman was a High School Teacher in the subjects of History and Spanish. Ms. Fleishman received her Bachelor's Degree and Secondary Teaching Credential from San Francisco State College. Thereafter, she attended night law school at Lincoln University in San Francisco while teaching days. While working days, attending law school at night and parenting her two young sons, Ms. Fleishman also won awards and individually developed and implemented a legal aid program for the American Jewish Congress in San Francisco.
Ms. Fleishman has served as a Judge Pro Tem for the Los Angeles Superior Court and the Ventura Superior Court. She has also taught Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB) Classes. She served as an Editor of the California State Bar Family Law News from 1981-1983.
Ms. Fleishman was elected a Southern California Super Lawyer in 2009.
Ms. Fleishman is an active member of the State Bar and is licensed to practice before all state courts throughout the State of California.
Christine Nguyen Thomas
Ms. Thomas graduated with Highest Honors from the University of California, Santa Barbara in June 2000 with a B.A. in Economics and Psychology. Ms. Thomas earned her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law in May 2003 and was admitted to practice that same year.
While at UCLA, Ms. Thomas was a managing editor with the Asian Pacific American Law Journal. She also volunteered as a law clerk for the Asian Pacific American Legal Center in Los Angeles and worked as a law clerk for the Office of the City Attorney in Oxnard.
Ms. Thomas has practiced primarily in the field of Family Law since 2004, first as an associate with the Law Offices of David P. Schwartz in Oxnard and then as supervising attorney at Community Action of Ventura County, a non-profit legal aid, also in Oxnard. Ms. Thomas joined the Law Offices of Bobette Fleishman as an associate in January 2008.
Ms. Thomas serves on the Board of Directors for the Ventura County Asian American Bar Association. She is also a member of the Family Law sections of the Ventura County Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the State Bar of California.
Ms. Thomas is an active member of the State Bar and is licensed to practice before all state courts throughout the State of California.

Sharol Kennedy
Ms. Kennedy is a paralegal and the firm's Office Manager. She has worked in the field of Family Law for over 13 years. She is also a licensed Notary Public and is available to provide the firm's clients with all necessary notary services. Ms. Kennedy has been with the firm since July 2007.
